Thank You to Monache California Scholastic Federation Students

On Saturday, November 19th, members of the Monache High School California Scholastic Federation Club helped Central Valley Rescue Railroad with a Puppy Food Drive and Awareness Campaign.

Now, more than ever, our area has a problem with dogs being surrendered or abandoned.  Central Valley Rescue Railroad is a dog rescue located in Lindsay and they are committed to saving and rehoming these dogs.  Once the dogs have had a health check, been spayed or neutered and microchipped, they are looking for new homes.

This rescue organization relies on donations to keep their programs going and on Saturday the Monache CSF students helped them raise over $500. in pet food and monetary donations.  The students also shared information on how to find the CVRR website and which dogs were available for adoption.

A big thank you to the Monache CSF students and their advisor Ms. Brandy Culver.  You made a difference!
