A BIG thank you to Dennis and the Porterville Tractor Supply for hosting Central Valley Rescue Railroad on Saturday, November 19th. With the help of the Monache High School California Scholastic Federation Club, CVRR took in a little over $500. in puppy food and monetary donations. This will go a long ways in helping the rescue and the work they do.
Central Valley Rescue Railroad is an all volunteer organization located in Lindsay. They are a “shelter without walls”; in other words, all of our animals are housed in a network of caring foster families/homes. The dogs (and an occasional cat) in their program are acquired through a variety of sources. They rescue from local kill shelters. Any healthy, adoptable animal in our program is guaranteed to be either adopted or transferred to another no-kill facility.
