Josefa Lantenay, the maid of an aristocrat, is hauled before the magistrate on a charge of murder, having been found unconscious, nude and clutching a gun, with her lover dead beside her. What is most shocking to the magistrate is the complete frankness with which she describes her life as a parlor maid and her affairs with both the dead chauffeur and her aristocratic employer. It is left to the magistrate to determine the truth of her statements and whether or not she is the real killer.
Juni Fisher at the Lindsay Community Theater for one show on Saturday, February 22nd. Juni Fisher is one of our hometown favorites and will be returning to perform her annual Sweethearts Concert. Juni is a western and folk singer/songwriter who blends her love of storytelling into her music. She has local roots here in the Central Valley – having grown up just down the road from us in Strathmore – and sings and shares stories about her life, interesting (sometimes famous) people she has met along the way and of course her amusing horses.Join us for a night of great music and funny, yet heartfelt, stories from the talented Juni Fisher. All seats are $19.99 Link to Info
